They serve at RHHD <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/richmond-city\/clinical-services\/\">clinic<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/richmond-city\/resource-centers\/\">resource center<\/a> locations and engage with community members at local events. CHWs promote healthy living and help people take greater control over their lives.<\/p>\n<p>Fill out <a href=\"https:\/\/uniteus.com\/networks\/virginia\/get-help\/get-help-6\/\">this online form<\/a> to connect to an RHHD CHW.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In 2025, RHHD CHWs provided:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1,225 referrals to services like food assistance, benefits navigation, and parenting education;<\/li>\n<li>204 educational classes;<\/li>\n<li>and supported 185 community outreach events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>RHHD CHWs provide access to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical services offered at RHHD and in the community, including:\n<ul>\n<li>Family planning<\/li>\n<li>Cervical and annual breast exams<\/li>\n<li>Immunizations<\/li>\n<li>Tuberculosis (TB) screening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Health and wellness education<\/li>\n<li>Medicaid and Family Access to Medical Insurance Security (FAMIS) referrals<\/li>\n<li>Referrals to support groups<\/li>\n<li>Economic resources<\/li>\n<li>Parenting education<\/li>\n<li>Car seat safety education<\/li>\n<li>Health screenings for newcomers to the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"># # #<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Richmond and Henrico Health Districts (RHHD) are sister public health agencies serving our connected communities.
