NOTICE AND DESCRIPTION OF SHELLFISH AREA CONDEMNATION
NUMBER 096-217, WILLIS WHARF AND VICINITY

በአርዕስት 28.2 መሠረት፣ ምዕራፍ 8፣ §§ 28.2-803 እስከ 28.2-808፣ § 32.1-20፣ እና § 2.2-4002፣ B.16 of the Code of Virginia:
1. The “Notice and Description of Shellfish Area Condemnation Number 096-217, Willis Wharf and Vicinity,” effective 15 November 2022, is cancelled effective 15 December 2025.
2. Condemned Shellfish Area Number 096-217, shown as Section A is hereby established effective 15 December 2025, and shall remain in force annually thereafter until rescinded. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to take shellfish from this area during such period for any purpose, except by permit granted by Marine Resources Commission, as provided in § 28.2-810 of the Code of Virginia. The boundaries of this area are shown on the map titled “Willis Wharf and Vicinity, Condemned Shellfish Area Number 096-217, 15 December 2025” which is part of this notice.
3. Conditionally Approved Shellfish Area (Closed Status) Number 096-217, shown as Section M1, is hereby established effective 15 December 2025, and shall remain in force until rescinded. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to take shellfish from this area during such period for any purpose while in the closed status, except by permit granted by Marine Resources Commission, as provided in § 28.2-810 of the Code of Virginia. The boundaries of this area are shown on the map titled “Willis Wharf and Vicinity, Condemned Shellfish Area Number 096-217, 15 December 2025” which is part of this notice.
4. Conditionally Approved Shellfish Area (Open Status) Number 096-217, shown as Section M2, is hereby established effective 15 December 2025, and shall remain in force until rescinded. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to take shellfish from this area during such period for any purpose while in the closed status, except by permit granted by Marine Resources Commission, as provided in § 28.2-810 of the Code of Virginia. The boundaries of this area are shown on the map titled “Willis Wharf and Vicinity, Condemned Shellfish Area Number 096-217, 15 December 2025” which is part of this notice.

A. The condemned area shall include that portion of Parting Creek and its tributaries upstream of a line drawn from latitude / longitude map coordinate (37°31'48.0",-75°47'21.4") to map coordinate (37°31'40.6",-75°47'11.4").
M1. The conditionally approved area (closed status) shall that portion of Parting Creek and its tributaries upstream and inland of a line drawn between latitude / longitude map coordinate (37°30'40.7",-75°48'22.0"), map coordinate (37°30'40.9",-75°48'19.7"), map coordinate (37°30'33.2",-75°48'18.0"), and map coordinate (37°30'33.0",-75°48'19.6").
M2. The conditionally approved area (open status) shall include that portion of Parting Creek at Willis Wharf inland of a line drawn between latitude / longitude map coordinate (37°30'56.9",-75°48'17.4"), map coordinate (37°30'55.7",-75°48'15.9"), map coordinate (37°30'49.2",-75°48'20.8"), map coordinate (37°30'40.9",-75°48'19.7"), and map coordinate (37°30'40.7",-75°48'22.0"); and is documented only on the report.
